Signs of Sunshine is a 501c3 non-profit organization that helps people who are suffering form a serious illness or injury. We do everything from building wheel chair ramps, to modifying an entire home so that it is handicap accessible. We may even just fill a freezer full of food. Whatever we can do to help! We are currently operational in Illinois and Arizona, with plans in the works for Utah and California! We are growing fast, and loving every minute of it!
Often times when injury or illness strikes, it is not only life changing, but often financially catastrophic. Our goal is to help as many people as we can! We count solely on donations and volunteers to make this happen. Therefore any support that you can give is greatly appreciated! Come out to the Windjammer on April 21st, 2012, for our fundraiser and raffle, and help us spread a little sunshine!!  The food will be ready to go at Noon, and it’s only $5.00 per person!  There will be a raffle, silent auction, DJ, and other fun events going on all day and night!  It’s a day of fun you won’t forget, and you’ll be supporting a great cause! Spring is off to a busy start here at Signs of Sunshine! The requests for our help are coming in, and we love knowing that we can help so many people out there! With this great weather and  our wonderful supporters, we are so excited to see what the rest of this season brings our way!

For those of you who have been following the news about Chase via our Facebook page, etc. He was finally released from the hospital, and while he still has to go back a few times a week and stay close by, so far everything is going well with his new heart! To think what that cute little boy has already endured at just 4 years old! He is truly an inspiration to us all!

There are so many people out there like Chase and his family that can use a little bit of help from us!  To be welcomed into their lives, and to be able to give them a hand is truly an amazing experience! Thank you to all that have helped us on this journey! Your donations and time are really making the difference for these families! Without you all, there is no way that we could continue to do this! We have been getting many questions via email, and comments lately. Therefore, it seemed appropriate to answer them all in one post. Please feel free to contact us if you have further questions! We are always here to help!

“Where will my donations go?” – Currently we are fully operational in both Arizona, and Illinois. (Opening soon: California and Utah!)  However, we are a national organization, recognized by the IRS as a 501c3 Public Charity. (This means that your donations are tax deductible!) Your donations will help individuals (and their families)  with things such as medical equipment, wheelchair ramps, and modifications to their home or vehicle to make it more accessible and functional for them.  In addition to those things, we may fill a freezer full of food for a family while off work from a severe injury or illness. We may also help them with other needs such as utilities or transportation. Our goal is to assist in any way that we can,  to help make sure that an individual has the opportunity to recover, and live life to their fullest potential!  With your partnership and donation, we can provide these things to those who so desperately need our help! Together, we can spread “Signs of Sunshine” to so many in need!

Calling all Arizona friends! Please join us at Uncle Bears Grill and Bar in Queen Creek (NW corner of Rittenhouse and Ocotillo) on February 25, 2012! Uncle Bears has agreed to donate 15% of any full priced item bought any time that day directly to Signs of Sunshine to help benefit those who have suffered a serious injury or illness! All you have to do is print out the flyer below, and bring it in, or email us at signsofsunshine@gmail.com and put “flyer” in the subject line, and we will email it back to you! We will be there all day and night selling both Raffle tickets, and 50/50 tickets, and there is sure to be lots of winners!  We hope to see you there for a “Doggone Good Time”!
